Nigeria, Abeokuta – The former Nigeria High Commissioner to United Kingdom, UK, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola OFR has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of a renowned industrialist, Olootu Abel Ogooluwa Bankole.
According to Ambassador Isola in his condolence message, the late distinguished industrialist demise serves as a poignant reminder that death is an inevitable part of life, a transition that awaits us all.
The statement reads: “On behalf of myself and my family, I express our deepest condolences on the passing of Olootu Abel Ogooluwa Bankole, a distinguished businessman, industrialist, and philanthropist. His demise serves as a poignant reminder that death is an inevitable part of life, a transition that awaits us all. It is a reality that underscores the importance of living a life of purpose, impact, and service to humanity.
“Olootu Abel Ogooluwa Bankole’s life was a testament to these values. As the founder of Premier Paints PLC, he demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit and contributed significantly to Nigeria’s industrial growth. His leadership and vision also extended to the education sector, where he served as Chairman of Mercyland International School.
“Born on November 1, 1948, at Ibogun Akiode village, Olootu Abel Ogooluwa Bankole’s background is a story of resilience and determination. He attended Anglican Primary School, Ibogun Odejimi, and later UNA Primary School, Adenrele Ife, before proceeding to Ibogun Secondary Modern School, Egbeda, in 1961 as a pioneering student.
“As we mourn the loss of this exceptional individual, we take comfort in the enduring legacy he leaves behind. His contributions to Nigeria’s development, his impact on the lives of those who knew him, and his commitment to philanthropy will continue to inspire future generations.
