Back-to-School Initiative: IYDF partners SIB Charity Foundation, distribute educational items to 9 primary schools

Nigeria, Ilaro-Yewa – The Ilaro Youth Development Forum (IYDF), in conjunction with SIB Charity Foundation, has announced the successful execution of their Back-to-School Initiative, aimed at supporting educational development across Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State.

As part of this initiative, the group, as stated by IYDF spokesman, Ojo Olorunfemi Famous, distributed essential writing materials, which included: 4,000 copies of exercise books; 4,000 pieces of biros; 4,000 pieces of rulers and 5,000 pieces of pencils.

According to him, the items were delivered to 9 primary schools across the local government.

“Beneficiary Schools included: Yewa South Local Government Primary School, Ijanna; Yewa South Local Government Primary School, Ona Ijanna (Ijanna Annex School); Eleja Primary School, Library Route, Ilaro (School 1 & 2); Congo Primary School, Ona Otun; Ansarudeen Primary School, Sabo (School 1 & 2); Modeolu Primary School, Modeolu and CMS Primary School, Igboro.

“In total, the initiative has positively impacted hundreds of young learners, providing them with essential tools to support their academic journey.

“Additionally, approximately 1,500 units of writing materials remain in stock and will be distributed in the coming weeks, once logistical and administrative arrangements are finalized.

“We extend our deepest appreciation to SIB Charity Foundation for their invaluable partnership on this impactful project.

“We also express a heartfelt thank you to all our co-sponsors and supporters ..your generous contributions contributed in no small way to the success of the initiative”, he stated.
