Nigeria – The Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri, Coach Aliyu Zubair has mourned death of one of the club’s goalkeepers, Agbor Ekoi.
Agbor reportedly died on Thursday in a fatal road accident.
Coach Aliyu described the death as unfortunate and noted that the Ekoi will be dearly missed by the club, families and relatives.
“Agbor’s death is an unfortunate one. He’s such a good goalkeeper with a lot of potentials. It’s a huge loss for us a club and to me as his Coach”.
While sending his sincere condolences to his immediate family, Aliyu who also doubles as the Head Coach of the Nigeria Flying Eagles prayed to God to grant them a fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and also grant the deceased an eternal rest.
