Nigeria – The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has implored the new Olu of Oluga-Kemta, in Odeda Local Government Area, to utilise his position to create a sustainable and conducive environment, as well as attract credible investors to the community for overall development.
Governor Abiodun made this known at the official Installation and Presentation of Staff of Office to the new monarch, Oba Ebenezer Oluga, reaffirming his administration’s commitment in creating individual prosperity for the growth of the town.
Represented by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Ganiyu Hamzat, the Governor emphasised that as a custodian of culture and tradition of Oluga-Kemta, the monarch should be accessible, receptive and responsive to the yearnings of his people.
‘’Evidently, the magnitude of accolades that greeted the declaration of Oba Ebenezer Adeoluwa Oluga as the Olu of Oluga-Kemta reveals that his appointment enjoys the overwhelming support of his people’’, the Governor said.

He pointed out that the continued support, cooperation, collaboration, understanding and prayers of the good people of the state would play a significant role in the successful implementation of various laudable and people-oriented programmes, soliciting more support for his administration to continue to deliver on its promises.
In his remarks, the Executive Chairman, Odeda Local Government, Dr. Folashade Adeyemo, enjoined the new monarch to ensure peaceful co-existence among his people, justify the mandate and trust reposed in him by the people of Oluga-Kemta, while appealing to the sons and daughters of the land to support the new monarch.
In his acceptance speech, Oba Oluga, assured that he would operate an open door policy, welcome creative ideas and suggestions that would engender development of the community, urging indigenes both at home and in the Diaspora to join hands in harnessing potentials that would further develop the town.
