Health Minister, Salako to Commission Community Health Facilty to Commemorate Oke-Odan Cultural Festival for Development

Nigeria – The Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr Iziaq Adekunle Salako will tomorrow, Saturday, commission a Community Health Center renovated and equipped by the Oke-Odan G30 Development Association as part of activities marking the grand finale of the 2025 Oke-Odan Cultural Festival.

The commissioning of the project, as stated by Prince Femi Dokunmu on behalf of Festival Planning Committee, is a major highlight of the Cultural Festival themed; “Leveraging Cultural Integration for Economic Prosperity in Oke-Odan Land”.

He said, “The grand finale, holding at the playground of the Muslim Progressive High School, Oke-Odan will also feature fund raising for developmental projects, installation of new chiefs, cultural displays by different groups and quarters as well as paying homage to the Oloke-Odan of Oke-Odan, Oba Dr Oluwarotimi Fagbenro.

“The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has been invited as the Special Guest of Honour at the event which also has the Managing Director/CEO of First Bank Nigeria Ltd, Olusegun Alebiosu as the Chairman of the Occasion.

“The renovation of the Community Health Center is aimed at boosting access of the people to quality health services and designed to complement the existing clinic and hospital building facilitated by the Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola”.
