Nigeria, Ogun State – Hon Wahab Haruna Abiodun Egungbohun, a member representing Yewa North State Constituency II in the 9th Ogun State House of Assembly, is an indigene of Ebute Igbooro, Yewa North in Ogun State.
This performing Hon., was born on 1st Januaury, 1984 into the family of Chief Otunba and Mrs Egungbohun Wahab Ayinla of Igbo-Atan, Ebute-Igbooro.
Hon. Egungbohun had his primary school education at YNLG School, Ebute-Igbooro after which he proceeded to Anglican Grammar School, Ilaro for his secondary school education.
He proceeded to Gateway Polytechnic Saapade and Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State where he bagged both Ordinary and Higher Diploma respectively.
Hon. Egungbohun later proceeded to Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomosho for both his Post Graduate Diploma in Management and MBA (Human Resources Management), where he was exposed to the political atmosphere of the state by his mentor late Chief Pa L.A Aredokun (Grand Father).
This humble lawmaker, also passed through Political Academy (POLA), Asoludero Shagamu, to brush up his political and leadership knowledge. Having learnt rudiment of politics, he launched his own team “Face Fact Initiatives” in 2016.
His leadership style and political knowledge gave him the privilege of becoming stakeholder in Yewa North.
Hon. Wahab Haruna Abiodun Egungbohun is also a business tycoon with great zeal for development of human capital at his local government by impacting knowledge.
At the OGHA, he is the Chairman House Committee on Health.
Hon. Egungbohun strengths lies in his ability to mentor, train and develop mind of young and vibrant youths across his local government through his Face Fact Initiatives cum Concerned Libration Youth Forum.
His passion in leading and inspiring young people made him to be living in his country home (Ebute-Igbooro). Hon Wahab Haruna is married to Rebecca Akintan and have blessed kids.
Recently, among his numerous empowerment programmes, he distributed bags of fertiliser, backpack sprayer etc to hundreds of farmers in his constituency.
