Nigeria – The honourable member representing Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency, in Ogun State, Hon. (Engr) Tunji Akinosi FNSE, on Tuesday, 30th July, 2024 undertook a significant humanitarian effort, as he distributed several bags of rice, beans, and garri to his constituents.
These relief materials were provided by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to alleviate the hardships caused by the recent flooding that severely impacted several communities within the Federal Constituency.
The event was well-attended, with various groups within the constituency represented by their leaders.
During the event, the leaders expressed their profound gratitude to President Bola Tinubu, GCFR and Honourable Tunji Akinosi for their timely intervention and support.
They acknowledged the efforts made to ameliorate the sufferings of the flood victims and highlighted the importance of such assistance in helping the affected communities to recover and rebuild.
Hon. Akinosi, in his address, reiterated his commitment to the well-being of his constituents and assured them of his continued support in the face of such natural disasters.
The engineer, turned politician and two time Commissioner in the state emphasized the importance of community solidarity and the role of government in providing necessary aid and resources during times of crisis.
Hon. Akinosi, popularly called Ire Witiwiti in political circle initiative underscores his dedication to ensuring that every constituent receives the support and assistance needed during challenging.
