Nigeria – The member of House of Representatives, representing Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency, Hon. Tunji Akinosi FNSE has commended the developmental efforts of Ogun State Institute of Technology, OGITECH, Igbesa, Abiodun Babatunde Oluseye PhD to see the institution become model to others.

Hon. Akinosi made this commendation during the week when he paid a courtesy call on Dr. Oluseye in his office at the Institute.

The Rector, while welcoming Hon. Akinosi to his office expressed immense joy for receiving his friend, whom he said is not only a Member of the House of Representatives but also a son of the soil (IGBESA community) in his office.

He commended and appreciated the courtesy extended to him despite his busy schedule.

Dr. Oluseye beckoned his friend and encouraged him to be a motivating factor to other indigenes of Ogun West Senatorial district to see the need to develop the only Institute they could call theirs.

He requested that all stakeholders must register their presence by coming up with the developmental projects.

“This is my dream for the Institute as a whole, staff, students, and the host community”, he said.

Highlighting his focus on development, the Rector emphasized that achieving this goal relies on their support and encouragement.

In response, Hon. Akinosi who had offered the sum of ₦500,000 to Five (5) OGITECH engineering students who graduated with distinction from the Institute’s 4th convocation ceremony held in 2021 and promised to continue for the next ten years, expressed happiness and appreciation for Dr. Abiodun’s hard work and doggedness in advancing the Institute’s pedigree among the committee of polytechnic since assumption of office as the 3rd substantive Rector.

Hon. Akinosi stated that the purpose of his visit was to further assure the Institute’s Management of his continued support and discuss potential collaboration for the betterment of the community.

He assured the Rector of his consistent visits, for collaboration in the growth and development of the community.
