Nigeria – The Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr Iziaq Adekunle Salako has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the his assent to the bill of upgrading Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro to Federal University of Technology, Ilaro, describing it as another milestone achievement in the inclusive approach of the President to governance.

Dr. Salako, an indigene of Yewaland, in a statement e-signed by him said, “I join the good people of Ogun West Senatorial District, the immediate beneficiaries of Federal University of Technology, Ilaro and all lovers of education in Nigeria to thank Mr. President for making University education more accessible to Nigerians by this upgrade.

“It is significant to note that under the current federal government, infrastructural development across Nigeria is receiving priority attention with Ogun West Senatorial District not being left behind.

“In the same vein, I want to specially appreciate the sponsor of this historic bill; Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola YAYI and other members of the National Assembly especially those fron Ogun West Senatorial District who supported the passage of the bill before it received the assent of Mr. President.

“I congratulate the people of Ogun West and our traditional rulers especially the Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, Oba Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle MFR for this new addition to the educational development of the land”.
