Nigeria – The Honourable Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr Iziaq Kunle Salako, on Monday, 23rd December, 2024 delivered the message of hope and assurance of a better Nigeria from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR to a cross-section of Ogun State people as he distributed Federal government palliatives, rice and fertilizer.
The Minister also conducted a free medical mission in Ayetoro, the capital of Yewa North local government of Ogun State.
The event was seamless, as it was carried out in an organised manner as the representatives of market men and women, religion leaders, farmers association, community leaders (Baales) and the political class received the palliatives on behalf of their members.
The medical outreach attended to over 500 adults and 200 children with consultation and screening for hypertension and diabetes. Free drugs were also provided for hypertension, diabetes and common ailments like malaria fever, upper/lower respiratory tract infections, arthritis etc.
Some of the dignitaries present at the event to witness the sharing of the subsidy palliative, including, HRM Oba Yisa Olaniyan (Onipokia of Ipokia), Oba Isola Adelakun (Alaya of Ayetoro), Oba Mukaila Salako (Igan Okoto), Oba Akintunde Akinyemi (Eselu of Iselu), former Speaker of Ogun State Rt. Hon. Suraj Adekunbi, Chief Olu Agemo, Chief Bisiriyu Popoola, Chief Samuel Ayedogbom, Hon. Obanla, Alhaji Ali Ajibode, Chief Mrs Iyabo Apampa, Chief Mrs Yemisi Abass, Aare Lai Taiwo, Alhaji Muhammed Azeez, Chief Sunday Kojeku, Chief Kunle Adeosun, Dr Yemi Bamgbose, Pastor Olajide Abiodun.
Others are Hon. Rasaki Oduntan, Chief S O Oderinde, Hon. Gabriel Falola, Hon. Iziak Abass, Hon. Adegoke Awoso, Hon. Wahab Egungbohun, Hon Sherrif Yussuf, Alhaji Yaya Fadipe, Hon. Gabriel Ogunyemi, Hon Mrs Bukola Omoyayi, Hon. Samuel Akinbode (Yewa North LG Chairman) and Prince Durojaiye.
