Nigeria – The Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr Iziaq Kunle Salako has felicitated Senator Kola Bajomo mni, FCA on his birthday today, 7th January, 2025, describing him as father, leader, mentor and an icon of accountancy profession in Nigeria.
Salako in his felicitation statement wrote, “FKB as Baba is fondly called has contributed immensely not only to Ogun State but the Nigeria nation in several capacities spaning private and public sectors of the economy to reach its apogee with an excellent performance as a Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic when he represented Ogun West Senatorial District from 2007 till 2011.
“As a former MD of a leading bank and president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, ICAN, Senator Kolawole Bajomo left indelible marks in the banking cum accountancy professions. As the Apesin of Ayetoro-Yewa, among many chieftaincy titles, he remains closely connected to his roots.
“May almighty God keep Baba for many more years in good health to continue his wise counsel and guidance that we so much cherish at all times.
