Nigeria – The Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa (OGITECH), has been celebrated for producing outstanding alumni who excelled at the 17th Convocation ceremony of Crawford University, held on Wednesday, 5th November, 2025.
The Rector of OGITECH, Dr. Abiodun Oluseye, in a congratulatory message to the graduants, commended the alumni for making the Institute proud through their academic excellence. He noted that OGITECH is known for academic excellence and moral dignity, and the Management strives to provide a conducive atmosphere for learning that aids effectiveness in skills development and academic excellence.
One of the alumni, Ahmed Lawal, a distinction graduate of MSc in Computer Science, who was also the overall best graduating student of OGITECH at the Institute’s 2nd Convocation Ceremony in 2018, spoke on behalf of the graduants. He attributed their success to the foundation laid at OGITECH, thanking the Management, Lecturers, and stakeholders for their support.
Other notable graduants from OGITECH included teaching and non-teaching members of staff from various academic disciplines. They commended the OGITECH Management for granting them approval for further studies, and enhancing their knowledge for effective job delivery.
The achievement of OGITECH alumni at the 17th Convocation ceremony of Crawford University is a testament to the Institute’s commitment to producing well-rounded graduates equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their chosen careers.
