Rallying Around YAYI: A Path to Our Promised Land

As the sun sets on our past and the dawn of a new era approaches, we find ourselves at a crossroads. The winds of change blow through the streets of Ogun State, whispering promises of progress, prosperity, and transformation. And in this pivotal moment, we must choose wisely.

1. Collective Task and Unity:* Our challenges are not solitary burdens but shared responsibilities. As Ogun Westerners, we stand together, transcending tribal affiliations and local boundaries. Our collective efforts can achieve more than isolated endeavors. Let us build bridges, not walls, and forge a path toward a brighter future.

2. Unity Over Division* : In the cacophony of political discourse, external forces seek to divide us. But we are stronger when united. Friedrich von Schiller’s words echo: “In unity, there is beauty and power.” When hearts align, even the weakest among us becomes formidable. Let us rise above petty differences and embrace our shared destiny.

3. Moving Beyond Partisanship:* Loyalty should not be blind; it should be discerning. Let us evaluate candidates based on their vision, competence, and commitment to our collective welfare. Partisanship blinds us to opportunities; critical thinking opens our eyes. Ogun deserves leaders who transcend party lines and prioritize our well-being. Ready to rebuild and enhance Community Development, Infrastructure, Healthcare, Empowerment Programs.

4. YAYI: Our Beacon of Hope:* Amidst the noise, one name resonates: YAYI. A beacon of hope, a bridge builder, a visionary. YAYI represents more than a political camp; YAYI embodies possibility. Let us rally around this leader, not as blind followers, but as conscious supporters. Together, we can overcome obstacles, rewrite our narrative, and create a better Ogun. According to Chinua Achebe of blessed memory in emphasising the significance of communal gatherings and dialogue. He said “A man who calls his kinsmen to a feast does not do so to save them from starving. They all have food in their own homes. When we gather together in the moonlit village ground it is not because of the moon. Every man can see it in his own compound. We come together because it is good for kinsmen to do so.”*

It’s on this note YAYI Advocates group is embarking on community based sensitization and dialogue ahead of 2027 in order to bring the masses of Ogun West together with one accord behind the distinguished Senator Olamilekan Adeola YAYI as the concensus Governorship candidate from Ogun West based on his antecedents and his developmental projects.

So, fellow Ogun Westerners, let us seize this moment. Let us see YAYI not merely as a leader but as a catalyst for change. Our strength lies in collective action, and by standing united, we can achieve remarkable outcomes. 🌟

May our shared aspirations propel us forward, and may YAYI’s leadership guide us toward the promised land.

Amen
