Nigeria – The Commissioner of Police Rivers State, CP Olatunji Rilwan Disu on Tuesday, 23rd January, 2024 paid courtesy visit on the state Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Simeon Chibuzor.
The CP’s visit, according to the state Command spokesperson, SP Grace Iringe-Koko aims at promoting good working relationship and cooperation between the Nigeria Police Force and the Judiciary.
COMPOL Disu pleaded to the judiciary to give all official support necessary to Police Prosecutors and IPO’s
investigating cases.
Responding, the Chief Judge commended the Commissioner of Police for his visit to the Judiciary.
The Justice Chibuzor spoke on training and re-training of Police Prosecutors and IPO’s to braze up and familiarize with officers working in legal department with the current laws, proper prosecution techniques and witnessing in court during trial or court proceedings.
