“He has also urged the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to provide relief materials to the affected victims and set up a NEMA office in Ado Odo/Ota Federal Constituency to assist residents. And the honourable House to mandate the Committee on Emergency and Disaster Preparedness to ensure compliance.

“The motions have since been adopted by the honourable House and the Speaker of the House, RT. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas has referred the motion to the appropriate Committee”, the statement said.

The media team also said, Hon. Tunji Akinosi has recently facilitated various interventions, including the ongoing repair of the dilapidated section of Ojuore roundabout by FERMA, to alleviate the challenges faced by the people of Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency.
