So-Safe apprehends notorious cultist, recovers arms in Ogun

Nigeria – The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps, codenamed So-Safe Corps, has arrested one Kabiru Adedotun, a suspected notorious Eye Confraternity cultist, popularly called K.B, who have been terrorizing Ogun communities.

According to a press statement issued from the Office of the State Commander of the Corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo through the Office of the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Corps, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf on Sunday, a cut-to-size pistol was recovered from him.

The statement disclosed that the tactical squad of the Corps, while on routine patrol, got information, which led the team to go after the suspect.

The cut-to-size pistol, as contained in the statement was recovered from his room at Totoro, Abeokuta, in the Abeokuta North Local Government Area of the state.

The statement also read that at the time of the arrest, the suspect confessed to have involved in a number of criminal activities in the state.

The Corps Commandant, Ganzallo noted that during preliminary investigation of the act, the suspected deadly cultist mentioned some names who are members of his gang.

Ganzallo further explained that the exhibit recovered from him has been transferred to the Nigeria Police Force, Monitoring Unit, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta for onward transfer to State Police Headquarters, Eleweran for further investigation and likely prosecution.
